                                        Camps/Expeditions: Two 3-day camps held during Term Two, including Year 11 Expedition which returns on a Saturday. 


                                        Regular use of time during lunch, recess, before and after school to run excursions. The ideal candidate would have the skill set to run activities, including camping, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing and bushwalking. However, some activities could be negotiable. 


                                        Ability to apply appropriate risk management and emergency response protocols.

    Design and Technologies Teacher


    This is a full time or high load part time ongoing position commencing during Term 1 2024 (start date by negotiation).

    As a Pre-Kindy Teacher at South Coast Baptist College's Childcare Centre, you will play a crucial role in fostering a child-centred educational program aligned with our beliefs and philosophy, specifically grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about early childhood education, values strong relationships with children and families, and aligns with our Christian ethos.


     


    Position Requirements:



    • ACECQA Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

    • Progress towards a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Care, 0-8).

    • Previous childcare service experience.

    • Familiarity with National Quality Framework and Reggio Emilia approach.

    • Create a safe, inclusive environment and knowledge of child protection principles.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; model appropriate behaviour.

    • Leadership skills, positive teamwork, and contribution to a reflective work culture.

    • Plan, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with Reggio Emilia and EYLF; willingness for ongoing professional development.
