EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

HillSide Christian College is an evangelical Christian school with an approximate enrolment of 450 students from Years K-12. In 2025, there will be approximately 235 Secondary students enrolled in Years 7 – 12. 

Successful applicants will be practising evangelical Christians, who are able to demonstrate and work within the College’s Christian framework. All teachers will need to accept the College’s Code of Conduct (including Statement of Faith) and all compliance requirements. All teachers will be expected to be able to teach from a Christian worldview.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title:​​           Secondary General Design and Technology Teacher 

FTE:                            1.0

Fixed Term:               Term 2, 2025 

Purpose:                    Long Service Leave relief (Term 2 start date 28 April, end date 27 June)

Role Expectations:  Secondary Teacher with capability to deliver Year 11 and Year 12 General Woodwork, and

                                Year 9 and Year 10 Metalwork, Alternate Energies, Small Engines and Years 7, 8 and 11 Physical Education. 

Salary:                       HillSide Teacher Pay Scale (negotiable on qualifications and experience)
