    Chaplain (part-time, ongoing)   


     


    To support our ongoing commitment to pastoral care and the flourishing of each member of our community, we are seeking an individual to join the team enabling us to extend our chaplaincy services. 


     


    This is a hands-on, relational role. Depending on your gifts, working closely with our Pastoral Care team, you will be involved in all aspects of College life. Drawing from your skills in preparation and planning, problem solving, you champion the Christian spiritual culture of the College through action. You see yourself as an ambassador of the College, representing the College in a professional way demonstrating authentically our values to students, staff and the College community. 


     


    Working within the College calendar and agenda, we are open to an individual’s calling to this role therefore tasks and projects can be reallocated based on gifting, experience and skills.

    South Coast Baptist College is seeking a passionate and organized Workplace Learning Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support students in their career development journey by facilitating workplace learning placements and ensuring positive and successful outcomes for both students and employers.


     


    Position Requirements:



    • Promote the Workplace Learning program, interview students to assess career goals, and match them with suitable employers.

    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with employers, manage placement paperwork, and provide ongoing support.

    • Prepare students and employers for their workplace learning experiences through comprehensive induction programs.

    • Monitor student progress during placements, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with all requirements.

    • Liaise with the Director of Pathways and report regularly on student placements and progress.


     


    Selection Criteria:



    • A bachelor’s degree or diploma (desirable).

    • Industry working experience, preferably in workplace learning or a similar program.

    • Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills.

    • Knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2020 (highly desirable).

    • Must hold a valid driver’s license, have a reliable car, and be willing to travel for student and placement visits.

    • Available during school holidays and exam periods for placement visits and as a point of contact.

    Carey Baptist Harrisdale Primary are seeking SAER (Students At Education Risk) Coordinator – for a minimum 0.8 FTE; which will entail 0.4 SAER plus 0.4-0.6 teaching. As SAER Coordinator reporting to the Principal Primary, key responsibilities include:



    • Liaise with team members to identify students at risk and ensure literacy and numeracy are catered for

    • Recent experience as Primary School Principal, Deputy Principal or another demonstrated leadership role.
