The Opportunity
Carey Harrisdale is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Secondary Media Arts & Design Teacher for 0.8 part time to full time position commencing January 2025.

About the Role
- Teach classes using various strategies to deliver an engaging and thought-provoking curriculum that encourages students to explore and think critically.
- Monitor, evaluate and report student progress. Engage students by making learning meaningful and relevant to their lives.
- Maintain good discipline in the classroom and within wider College settings.
- Demonstrate care and concern for the spiritual, emotional, social, and academic development of students.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to foster a deep and active learning environment consistent with the College policies.
- Apply a range of diagnostic and formative assessments to monitor and support student progress.
- Critically reflect on teaching practice and modify it accordingly.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with students and parents about the learning program, progress and assessments.
- Effectively manage online teaching, learning and assessment programs through the College’s Learning Management System and Curriculum.
