We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Early Childhood team. As a Consultant, Early Childhood, your primary responsibilities will include providing leadership, consultancy, support, and professional learning to member schools in Early Childhood pedagogy.
We encourage applications from candidates with strengths in a combination of the following areas to complement the existing skills within the Early Childhood team. Part-time positions will be considered.
- Expertise in Play-Based Learning.
- Expertise in Inquiry-Based Learning.
- Expertise in Nature Pedagogy.
- Experience in leading and supporting educational change.
- Experience teaching a diverse range of children.
- Experience teaching in Independent Schools.
- Familiarity with On-entry Assessments and Quality Improvement Plans.
These positions are offered as a one-year fixed-term contract or may suit a secondment arrangement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Substantial teaching experience in early childhood settings, including schools or other relevant environments.

Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework v2, and the National Quality Framework.

Proven ability to plan and deliver multimodal professional learning.

Capacity to initiate, plan, and collaborate on projects with AISWA colleagues and external partners.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop relationships with early childhood educators.
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline.

Current Teacher Registration Board (TRB) registration.

Current Working with Children Check.

Current National Police Clearance.

Current ‘C Class Driver’s License and access to a vehicle for business use, as required.
