Community perceptions are key to supporting your languages program. Does your community have access to up-to-date information about language learning today?
Breaking down outmoded and negative conceptions of language learning is paramount. How have you gone about breaking down these barriers? I know some teachers have invited the community into their classrooms, have produced promotional videos and some teachers have run community language classes after school.
