Geraldton Grammar School is seeking dynamic and passionate teachers to apply in the following learning areas

The Role

There is a responsibility for planning relevant and engaging learning experiences, demonstrating a high level of curriculum knowledge, using appropriate assessment tools and recording student progress through the School’s online management system (SEQTA). The position requires applicants to have the ability to develop inclusive learning environments, foster positive relationships and to communicate with staff, students and parents in a timely and respectful manner.

It is expected that the successful applicants will attend camps, staff meetings, curriculum evenings and parent/teacher interviews.

Relocation assistance will be offered to the right candidate.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Ability to teach Years 7-12 Subject Areas 

  • Have a sound understanding of the current curriculum

  • Commitment to the Schools values of Respect, Responsibility, Inclusivity and Perseverance. 

  • Experience in differentiating for students of varying ability

  • Excellent class management

  • Understanding of contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies

  • A commitment to Pastoral Care and meeting the social and emotional well-being needs of students

  • A commitment to collaborative teaching practices and an ability to contribute to a team and faculty of professional educators

  • Hold and maintain (or be eligible for) a Working with Children Check, TRBWA registration.
