School Psychologist

Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, psychologist with school-based experience to join our collaborative psychology team. The primary responsibilities for this role involve providing psychological services support to independent schools assisting staff, students, and families.

This position encompasses the responsibility for a group of schools, metropolitan and/or country locations, which may include remote Aboriginal schools.

This position is available in Perth and/or Albany, offering full-time employment for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • School-based experience working with schools representing diverse educational, religious, and philosophical backgrounds.

  • Previous experience in responding to critical incidents and emergencies, supporting schools in their response.

  • Proven experience in providing learning and information to school staff to enhance the capacity of schools and families, ultimately improving students’ learning and developmental outcomes.

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist.

  • An up-to-date Working with Children Check.

  • A current National Police Clearance.

  • Possession of a current unrestricted Driver’s Licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
