About The School
Emmanuel Christian Community School is a co-educational K-12 school located in Perth’s northern suburbs. The School opened in 1982 and now has an enrolment of around 700 students. The School's Vision and Mission can be found on the School website.
We invite applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary teachers for a parental leave cover in Year 2 and Year 4.

The Year 2 position will commence 21 October 2024 and conclude 4 July 2025.

The Year 4 position will commence 21 October 2024 and conclude 12 December 2025.
These are full-time fixed term contracts, with the possibility for a permanent position in the future.
The successful applicants will have a passion for nurturing young children and demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary to provide a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
There will be opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
The successful applicant will:

be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry.

proficiency in the Western Australian Curriculum.

demonstrate initiative, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Demonstrated record of achievement in fostering student development.

Well-developed knowledge of literacy and numeracy teaching and learning in the primary years.
