About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Enrichment Coordinator to support the academic and personal development of students with diverse learning needs in our Primary School. The successful candidate will collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and support staff to ensure all students receive the necessary support for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Primary and Deputy Head of Primary to develop and implement strategies for Learning Enrichment across the school.

  • Support the leadership team in staff development, appraisal, and promoting effective teaching practices.

  • Coordinate small group and individual instruction for students with diverse learning needs, including emotional regulation and behavioural support.

  • Oversee intervention programs and extension initiatives to ensure student development and integration.

  • Manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provide guidance to teachers on strategies for students with additional needs.

  • Coordinate with external professionals and provide support for students requiring specialised services.

  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of students' progress and needs.

  • Assist with enrolment processes for students requiring additional support and ensure reasonable adjustments are made.

  • Stay informed on the latest educational research and best practices in Learning Enrichment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.

  • Knowledge of educational assessment and intervention strategies.

  • Ability to manage timetables and coordinate support staff effectively.

Frederick Irwin Anglican School teacher salaries are generally 2.5% above the comparable Department of Education of Western Australia rates.

As an Anglican School, pastoral care is extremely important at Frederick Irwin Anglican School.  This is a role of the teachers who manage the supervision and welfare of the students while at school.
