MUSIC TEACHER
Part-time, fixed term, Term 2 2025
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic and dynamic teachers for the part-time (0.6FTE), fixed term position of Music Teacher from Monday 28 April 2025 to Friday 27 June 2025 (Term 2, 2025).
The successful applicant will:

be an outstanding music educator who has the capacity to inspire and enthuse students.

teach Music classes from Years 7 to 11 as required.

direct and conduct music ensembles as required.

be an excellent musician.
-
be committed to and enthusiastically involved in concerts, recitals and festivals throughout their time at Hale School.

use their understanding of pedagogy to engage students in excellent and creative teaching and learning practices.
-
have the ability, drive and energy to work effectively as a member of a collaborative teaching team.
-
demonstrate highly developed initiative, organisational, administrative and communication skills.
-
foster effective working relationships with both students, staff, and parents.
-
have an understanding of, and empathy for, the academic, social, spiritual, and emotional development of boys.

be committed to the provision of a supportive environment aimed at building self-confidence and enhancing learning outcomes for all students.

have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions.

hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications.

have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia or be eligible for registration.

have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.
