Santa Maria College is a leading Catholic girls' school, founded by the Sisters of Mercy with 1,280 students in Years 5 -12 including 150 boarders.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher to join our dynamic and committed team. The ideal candidate will be an engaging educator who inspires and challenges students in their learning.
Experience teaching Years 8 to 10 is an advantage. While prior experience is preferred, we also welcome applications from enthusiastic graduates eager to make a meaningful impact.
This role is a fulltime fixed term position for Term 2, 2025.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Knowledge of and commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic and Mercy education
- A passion and ability to teach Humanities and Social Science
- Capacity for innovative, engaging teaching and learning
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents
- Highly developed ICT skills
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills

- Appropriate teacher qualifications
- Eligibility for teacher registration in Western Australia
- Working With Children Check
