Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately thirteen kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced, and well-qualified professionals for the position of English Teacher for 2025.
The successful applicant will:

be expected to teach English in the Senior School, which could include Years 8 – 10 English, Year 11 English (ATAR and/or General).

be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum.

have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional, and spiritual development of boys.

have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions.

hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications.

have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia or be eligible for registration.

have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.

the names and contact details of three referees, one of whom must be the current or most recent employer.
