Description

This PL is designed to give teachers and education assistants an overview of Autism and typical presentations in the school setting. We will cover the challenges that many Autistic students encounter at school and explore a range of evidence-based strategies to support them. Participants will leave with a plan and practical steps to support Autistic students.  

As part of the program, we will hold three online meetings post-event workshops for participants to network, feedback, revise and share strategies implemented.

AISWA is easily accessible, with plenty of parking options nearby. While there is no onsite parking available, street parking is available along Walters Drive and surrounding streets, with a maximum fee of $5.50 per day. Please note, no cash or card payment options are available, payment is managed via the EasyPark App, so we recommend downloading it ahead of your visit for a seamless experience.
