Description

Significant updates have been made to the Guide to the Registration Standards and Other Requirements and the application process for renewing registration. Schools planning to renew their registration in 2025 are strongly encouraged to attend to gain insight into the latest requirements from the Non-Government Schools Regulation (NGSR) team and what they will be focusing on in the coming year.

This seminar is not only for those involved in their school’s registration renewal but also for anyone looking to stay informed about NGSR requirements to ensure ongoing compliance. As the NGSR reminds us, schools must remain compliant with the Standards 24/7.

Topics to be addressed include:

  • 2024 Registration Standards and the Application Process
  • Satisfactory Standard of Education
  • Satisfactory Level of Care
  • Legal and Compliance Issues
  • Standard 10 – Preventing and Responding to Child Abuse
  • Reportable conduct Scheme
  • School Governance with a focus on the Standards.
  • The importance of using and understanding data to improve school performance.
