Description

The Leading AI Adoption workshop is designed to equip school leaders and educators with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively guide the integration of AI in their schools. Participants will explore the role of AI in education, ethical considerations, and strategies for building a culture of innovation. The session will cover policy development, professional learning frameworks, and actionable steps for creating an AI adoption roadmap tailored to their school’s unique context. This workshop offers practical insights and real-world examples to support leaders in navigating the opportunities and challenges of AI in education.

Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Develop a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges of AI in education leadership.
  • Explore strategies for fostering ethical and innovative AI adoption in schools.

Simon is a specialist in artificial intelligence, Technologies, digital literacy, and ICT across the curriculum. He holds a Master of Education by Research degree (Education Leadership) and is a doctoral candidate. Simon has a keen interest in educational practice and has professional experience in Australia and abroad. He has developed his expertise through work as a teacher, academic and consultant.

AISWA is easily accessible, with plenty of parking options nearby. While there is no onsite parking available, street parking is available along Walters Drive and surrounding streets, with a maximum fee of $5.50 per day.
