Target Audience:
Pre-Kindergarten - Year 2 teachers and curriculum leaders
This workshop is aimed at educators already familiar with using documentation as a tool for making visible the thinking and learning of young children. It will explore the pedagogy of documentation as a means of negotiating the curriculum with children, a way to foster the process of learning and as a tool for assessment.
You will gain an understanding
- The pedagogy of documentation as part of the planning process and as assessment for learning.
- How and what to document.
- The role of teacher as researcher in documentation
