Description
If you are an Education Assistant seeking to upskill your knowledge and repertoire of strategies, this PL is for you. This full day PL will cover a range of topics selected based on feedback from 2024 sessions and will be a combination of more formal presentations and hands-on experiences.
Session topics include:
- Supporting EALD students;
- Literacy games to support individuals and small groups;
- Strategies to enhance the development of executive functions and behaviours of students including those with developmental differences eg. ADHD, Autism and FASD;
- Collegiate conversations.
Participants will be provided with practical strategies and techniques that can be applied in the classroom, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Outcomes

- Development of strategies to support differentiation of programs to meet the needs of students across a range of abilities.
