Description
This free webinar will introduce a variety of platforms that help students be creative users of computers through coding.
In a world where we are immersed in technology, it is important that young people learn to become confident creators rather than expert consumers. This 1-hour session seeks to demonstrate how educators can foster and promote creative uses of technology across different learning areas.
Participants can expect hands-on demonstrations and the chance to follow along on their own devices. We will learn how to get the most out of some commonly used platforms, such as Scratch, and others such as Tinkercad and Swift Playgrounds.
A link to access the meeting will be sent to registered participants in the days preceding the event.
