Description
This interactive workshop for Business Managers will explore through a workshop medium, how to identify and respond to Staff Psychosocial Risks in the education sector. Facilitated by Suncorp Risk Manager, Michael Walsh and a specialised Organisational Psychologist, Marissa Mills, attendees will gain an understanding of this complex area of psychosocial hazards with some pointers on how to manage these risks in schools.
**Note: This workshop is strictly limited to 20 participants.

Marisa Mills
Marisa is the Director and founder of PSB Solutions. Marisa is an organisation health and safety performance improvement specialist with a Master’s in Applied Psychology and over 25yrs experience. She is a recognised leader in mental health and safety culture improvement strategies with extensive experience developing and implementing customised strategies within both small and large companies.
Michael Walsh
Michael is the Manager for Risk Management Solutions for GIO Workers Compensation. Michael has an extensive background in workplace risk consulting with a variety of industries including Education, Mining, Transport, Construction and Healthcare across Australia, resulting in a broad understanding of workplace risk issues that arise within such industries. Holding a Masters in Health & Safety and various professional charted qualifications, Michael has a strong understanding of various workers compensation schemes and WHS regulatory requirements having worked in the industry for over 22 years. Michael works to assist business operators to design and implement workplace risk strategies to support their people.
