The 2024 Emerging Leaders Program consists of four scoped and sequenced modules that develop the knowledge, skills, and understandings of identified educators who wish to pursue promotional positions in AISWA schools. The four modules are:
1. Leadership today for tomorrow
2. Communication and relationships
3. Strategy, negotiation and influence
4. Gauging impact for improvement
NOTE: Participants in this program are requireed to complete a DISC profile.

Designed to foster a deep-seated understanding of educational leadership dynamics in the modern age, our four-day scoped and sequenced program encompasses a rich tapestry of interactive and kinaesthetic learning including a mini-experiential project. The program is also complemented with data from the participant’s D.I.S.C. personality profile.

Meika Pfeiffer-Gough is the Leadership and Teaching Excellence Manager at AISWA, part of the Curriculum and School Improvement Directorate. With 19 years of experience as a teacher and leader across diverse PK-12 educational settings, Meika is committed to promoting excellence in teaching and leadership. She highlights the importance of emotional intelligence and relational trust in building strong, respectful connections within school communities, recognizing these as essential for creating positive learning environments and inspiring growth. Passionate about leadership development, Meika works to empower confident, reflective leaders who drive collective success.
Nancy Pavisich
Dr Nancy Pavisich is a renowned consultant in leadership, management, and communication, dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations. She specialises in developing leaders and teams, drawing on extensive experience in Catholic, Government, and Independent schools. With a Ph.D. in Mentoring and multiple qualifications, Dr Nancy lectures at Edith Cowan University and tutors at the University of Notre Dame. She facilitates workshops for the Australian Institute of Management’s MBA program and is a published author. Dr Nancy’s work is grounded in evidence-based research and has earned her prestigious awards in educational leadership and consultancy.
