This year’s theme, “Count me in,” reflects our collective commitment to education, participation, and inclusion. Together, we’ll unite as a community—educators, students, and allies—taking ownership of the educational journey and shaping a brighter future.

By embedding First Nations perspectives, we honour cultural heritage and wisdom of First Nations communities, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in our educational practices. This approach not only enriches the learning experience for all students but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation. 

Making lasting change involves more than just policy adjustments; it requires a shift in mindset and a dedication to continuous improvement. By actively engaging with First Nations communities, we can co-create educational programs that are culturally relevant and empowering, paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable future.
