The AI for Educators: From Efficiency to Innovation workshop explores how teachers can harness the power of AI to streamline their workload and enhance student learning. Participants will gain an understanding of AI basics, its implications for education, and the importance of fostering AI literacy. The session will demonstrate AI's capabilities through practical applications, showcasing how to use AI tools effectively for productivity and innovative teaching practices. This hands-on workshop equips educators with the knowledge and skills to confidently integrate AI into their classrooms and empower students for a future shaped by technology.

Outcomes

Participants will:

Simon is a specialist in artificial intelligence, Technologies, digital literacy, and ICT across the curriculum. He holds a Master of Education by Research degree (Education Leadership) and is a doctoral candidate. Simon has a keen interest in educational practice and has professional experience in Australia and abroad. He has developed his expertise through work as a teacher, academic and consultant.
