Kate Mullin was an AISWA Consultant who worked tirelessly to improve outcomes for Aboriginal learners.  This award has been created in her memory.

The Kate Mullin Association (KMA) has an annual Teacher Award.  The Award is for the teacher in WA who makes the greatest contribution to teaching English to Aboriginal students, and is a flagship event of the year.  The winner gets $5,000.  

The submissions must be received by 1 November 2017 with the Award presented at the WATESOL AGM at the end of November.  Candidates or people submitting on their behalf can access the nomination and referee forms from the KMA website
