KATE MULLIN TEACHER AWARD 2017
The Kate Mullin Association has an annual Teacher Award. The award, which is worth $5,000, is for the teacher in WA who has made the greatest contribution to improving the literacy of Aboriginal students. Please circulate to anyone you think might be a good candidate. The submissions have to be in by 1st November 2017 with the Award presented at the WATESOL AGM at the end of November. APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2018 COMMONWEALTH BANK TEACHING AWARDS | Applications are open from 4th September to 12th October 2017.
The Teaching Awards celebrate excellence in teaching and school leadership. In 2018,12 outstanding educators will receive a $45,000 Teaching Fellowship, including $30,000 for a project at their school, $10,000 for professional development and a $5,000 study tour to a high-performing education system.
