Positions Details

  • Contract: Fixed term contract until the close of college business on 15 December 2023 with the option for renewal.
  • Location: Based at Head Office in Wembley with parking provided.
  • Salary: 50-65K range plus Superannuation.

About the Position

The Administration Officer - Reception is the first point of contact at reception, responsible for the provision of accurate advice and information in response to enquiries from prospective students, parents, and the wider community.

The Administration Officer - Reception is a key role in the business service administration at the college. Ideally, suitable applicants will have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our college.

Administrative duties include supporting the College Registrar in accurate management of student databases and records.

In this role you will:

  • Be a friendly and welcoming first point of contact.
  • Assist the enquiry management framework, including provision of accurate information and guidance to prospective and existing students, parents and wider community via email, phone enquiries and occasional visitors.
  • Maintain accurate student data, daily attendance records and assist with timely government reporting.
  • Administer the operation of college databases, records and management information systems.
  • Contribute to the day-to day operations of the reception and admissions team in line with the directions of the College Registrar.

As part of the selection process the preferred applicant will be required to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), hold a current C -Class Driver’s Licence to travel within WA and Perth Metropolitan and Bunbury area and be available for occasional after hours and weekend work as required.

A current national Police History Check as issued by the Department of Education Western Australia is a requirement.

Your Capabilities

  • Strong attention to detail and ensuring data integrity.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide accurate information from multiple data sources.
  • Experience in a customer service environment with high level customer service principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver outcomes while working to deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • MS Office systems and database knowledge. Enrol HQ and Synergetic working knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver results and show initiative.
