Applications for PALS (Partnership, Acceptance, Learning & Sharing) funding have officially opened for 2018. Funding is available to all WA primary and secondary schools and encourages schools with and without Aboriginal students to participate.

WAIER Annual Research Grant 2018

The Western Australian Institute for Educational research [WAIER] has established an Annual Research Grant. The grant is designed to support early career and established researchers who do not have ready access to funds or resources; and/or require seeding funding for new projects for research directly relevant to early childhood, primary, secondary or tertiary education.

WAMC 2018 KIDS MARATHON - 1km at a time | Sunday 17 June 2018

The WAMC joined the national Kids Marathon Series in 2008. It has been a great success and they are looking forward to the Perth Kids Marathon continuing to grow bigger and bigger each year. It has a unique format that allows kids, kindergarten through high school to run a marathon... one kilometre at a time. It will be held in conjunction with the annual Perth Marathon on Sunday 17th June, 2018.

ACEL WA Awards 2018 | Nomination Close: 1st March 2018

A highlight of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders Western Australia Branch is the annual celebration and presentation of awards. ACEL WA honours those educational leaders who in the view of their peers have made a significant contribution to the understanding and practice of educational leadership.
To assist in this process, we urge all ACEL WA members to consider nominating worthy candidates for recognition of their leadership and service to education. The award nomination process is confidential until completed, and nominations have been approved. The ACEL WA Awards committee will evaluate nominations with respect to the essential criteria.

ACEL WA is calling for nominations for the following awards:

  • ACEL WA Excellence and Leadership in Tertiary Studies
  • ACEL WA Research in Educational Leadership and Management
  • ACEL WA Teacher Leader Award for Excellence
  • ACEL WA Certificate of Excellence in Educational Leadership
