Moderating Children’s Writing – Pizza Afternoon/Evening | Monday 21st May - 4pm – 7pm | Moerlina School
Moderation of young children’s writing in PP-2 can be challenging. Come along to our after school session, to share your children’s writing and feel confident about using the SCSA judging standards, to assist you when writing reports. Participants will be sent a task relative to their year level to undertake with their children in order to bring samples to the session for moderation with colleagues. Focus will be on the developmental nature of observations and expectations using the SCSA judging standards. This is an afternoon/evening session with a light meal provided. Please note dietary requirements when booking.

Premier's Student Competition | Celebrating the end of the Centenary of ANZAC
The Premier invites you to get creative and help Western Australia celebrate the end of the Centenary of ANZAC.
All students from Years 1-10 across the State are encouraged to creatively explore 100 years of social change in Western Australia. Finalist entries will be displayed in Perth, with winners invited to tour Parliament and meet with the Premier.

White Ribbon Australia Respectful Relationships Education program
White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working with women and girls to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality, respectful relationships, and a new vision of masculinity. White Ribbon Australia is offering a free-of-charge Respectful Relationships Education professional development program in 2018-19. Registrations have opened for school leadership teams that wish to participate. The program, which is called Breaking the Silence commences in June 2018 and runs through to April 2019.
