Providence Christian College is a Co-educational, non-denominational K-12 College with around 1050 students located in Southern River, WA.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following short-term position:
Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Leave Cover)
Maternity Cover Position (1.0 FTE): 31 July 2024 - 31 October 2024, with the possibility of extension until the end of 2024
The successful applicant will:
- Have the relevant teaching qualifications and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students, parents and fellow staff members.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum
- Have experience working within a Google Chrome environment.
- Essential Knowledge and Experience:
You will have:
- An active Christian Faith
- Exemplary teaching practice with proven classroom management practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards.
- Demonstrated ability to address students' varying intellectual, emotional and physical abilities in teaching practice and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team building and mentoring skills.
- A commitment to go the extra mile to ensure that your students are always well-provided for.
- The right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience with the Google Suite
- First Aid certified

Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position.
- Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA).
- Current Working With Children Card.
- Current Police Clearance
