Commencing February 2019 Perth Waldorf School is seeking an Extra Lesson Teacher in Primary School for a part-time position over 3 days, between the hours of 11.15am and 3.00pm each day. The position would suit teachers or practitioners who have undertaken Extra Lesson® training and who wish to work in a school environment. Duties include:
- Conducting individual and whole class assessments of children
- Developing and running individual and perhaps small group Extra Lesson® programs
- Running group movement programs in class settings with the class teacher so as to provide a supportive picture of the class needs.
The successful applicant would be required to work with the class teachers and Primary School Coordinator and join our Learning Support team to provide for students with diverse learning needs. They will also liaise with parents as part of this role. Requirements:
- Training in the Extra Lesson® program
- Current WWCC
- TRBWA registration and teaching experience, while not essential for the role is strongly preferred
