Telethon Speech & Hearing Public Seminar Series

How can we engage families?
Allied health professionals traditionally focused on teaching children a discrete skill set. Parents/caregivers are now seen as an active implementer of intervention. Coaching skills have therefore become essential for early interventionists to engage families to facilitate their child’s development in their daily life. Participants will learn application of coaching skills in early intervention —how to equip families with the skills to embed therapy strategies in their daily life. Please see flyer for more information and how to register.
